Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Labor Day Weekend

By Keith Schultz

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! Happy Labor Day Weekend or Happy End of Summer, either way it’s less than 2 weeks until training camp starts for the Chicago Blackhawks, and that’s just fine by me.

The biggest question mark and biggest black cloud hovering over the franchise is what’s going to happen to Patrick Kane, and is he going to be at training camp or Banner Raising on opening night for that matter with his case going to a Grand Jury.

I said it the other night on Twitter, but this has been the most bizarre, disappointing, frustrating offseason a Stanley Cup Champion has ever endured.  The thing is all fingers point to one of our favorite players in Patrick Kane.  At 26 as most fans have pointed out he should have matured, but it looks like in the end he hasn’t and it will probably cost himself and the franchise in the end.

Getting back to the topic, It’s Labor Day weekend! Hope you are enjoying the cookouts, the Chicago Cubs winning, college football and spending times with friends and families.  Before you know it though, the Chicago Blackhawks will be on the ice on the campus of Notre Dame starting training camp!
