Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Quickly Falling Apart

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! As you read earlier this morning on Blackhawk Up, the NHL and Chicago Blackhawks are quickly removing themselves from any type of promotional items that relate to their brand and Patrick Kane.  This of course is as expected with Kane facing a grand jury for rape.

It also points to the fact that the summer of celebration turned into a summer of disappointment the day the story broke in early August and here we are already past Labor Day, and the taste of disappointment has not gone away with bitterness really setting in quickly.

There should be nothing but excitement for all the new faces that were going to get to play with Patrick Kane at training camp, preseason, and to begin the regular season.  The problem is we may never get to see any of this and no matter what you do to distract yourself from the story, another story pops up about Kane, and it doesn’t go away.  I’ve watched Game #6 three times since the allegations were brought forward, and I just don’t get the same enjoyment out of watching the win nor does it take the bitterness away.  It may be all falling apart for Kane, but he took the summer of fun away from all of us fans.

One thing he cannot take away from us is this mornings links so here they are to kick off your Tuesday morning.
