Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks rookies have had a rough time in their first Traverse City tournament with them losing  their first three games, they lost pretty ugly by giving up a bunch of goals in short periods of time.

The fates changed on Tuesday with the rookie Blackhawks beating the rookie New York Rangers 5-2 giving the Hawks their first win of the tournament.  This is the first year we haven’t reported much from the rookie tournament mostly because there is no feed from the tournament, and to be honest besides the name Ryan Hartman there is really no buzz with this years roster.

In years past we were excited to see Teuvo Teravainen play or Phillip Danault, but this years roster is pretty weak and inexperienced and well losing quite a bit, but it was good to see them pick up a win, and for the real good news we are just a couple days away from the Blackhawks training camp.

Here are some morning links to kick off your Wednesday morning.
