Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Kruger-less

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! So what did we learn yesterday? First off the majority of the fans in South Bend were Patrick Kane fans giving him the biggest cheer of all the players announced Friday.

Secondly, we learned that it’s been one frustrating summer for Marcus Kruger. Kruger had to wait the entire summer and well into September for the Chicago Blackhawks to clear salary cap space for him to get a new contract.  Then, the Chicago Blackhawks had little wiggle room to give him a long term deal so Kruger was stuck with a one year contract, which isn’t want he wanted and waited for all summer long.

Lastly, today we found out that Kruger wasn’t at the Chicago Blackhawks training camp because he was having visa issues and couldn’t get back to the states, though it should be resolved by early next week. Poor Kruger!

With or without #16 training camp did begin and so now we have hockey to talk about, but let’s be honest the real story of the day was Patrick Kane, and like or hate it will be the talk everyday going forward until something happens in Hamburg New York.

One thing that is happening for sure here today is some morning links, and they are coming up right now!

Here are some interviews from Day 1 from South Bend, Indiana including Artem Panarin (Blackhawks)
