The Blackhawks would get up early on the Red Wings and Jimmy Howard. A little known player to the Blackhawks faithful would give them a 2-0 lead.

Teuvo Teravainen would keep the line moving as the Blackhawks got up 3-0.

The Red Wings would finally get on the board with a goal from Anthony Mantha. That would end the second period with the Blackhawks leading 3-1.  The third period started with a bang for the Blackhawks.

The Red Wings would rally back with goals from Riley Sheahan, Teemu Pukkinen, and Luke Glendening. The game was already going to a 3 on 3 overtime. The game just happened to be tied when the Blackhawks went to the overtime period.
