Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Fall Is In The Air

By Keith Schultz

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans and Happy Autumnal Equinox! The Chicago Blackhawks won their first preseason hockey game last night 5-4 in overtime ( I know you are surprised it went into OT), and this morning it’s the first day of fall. So after spending all summer counting down to opening day, we are two weeks away from opening night and Fall is in the air!

The Chicago Blackhawks did show off some things old and some things new last night against the Detroit Red Wings.  Jonathan Toews and Teuvo Teravainen scored for the Blackhawks, but it was the new guys that scored in third period and overtime for the victory which is nice to see with both Ryan Garbutt and Trevor Daley lighting the lamp.

Now the Chicago Blackhawks are on the road which according to coach Joel Quenneville means less veterans and a bunch more youth, which is just fine by me.  Let me see the Ryan Hartman‘s and Mark McNeill’s because it is preseason.  It’s fall out there and to celebrate the first day of autumn here are some morning links to kick off your morning.
