Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links: Fan Interaction

By Colin Likas

Good morning, Chicago Blackhawks fans! We’re just five days from opening night at the United Center, when the Blackhawks will raise their third Stanley Cup banner in six seasons and then take on the New York Rangers. It’s an exciting situation for Blackhawks fans all over the world.

Speaking of Blackhawks fans all over the world, Blackhawk Up recently received a fantastic submission from some lifelong fans of the organization. Ron, Kim and Zach Starkey and their dog Aurora are dedicated Blackhawks fans living in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Starkeys previously lived in the Chicago suburbs for 55 years, and the Blackhawks are their primary team.

The Starkeys sent us pictures of Aurora, a 3-year-old Labrador, in a Blackhawks outfit ahead of opening night, and they’ve offered us permission to share these adorable photos. So enjoy, courtesy the Starkey family.
