Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Practice Makes Perfect

By Keith Schultz

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! Monday was a practice day for the Chicago Blackhawks with a lot of extra days off during the regular portion of the October schedule.  This week the Chicago Blackhawks have 3 days off while and next week they will have 4 straight days off.

This is great time for the team to work on a lot of things early in the season which works out well for a team with a lot of new faces and old players playing in new roles.  One thing looking at the practice lines you notice right away is that after big win, Joel Quenneville doesn’t mess with his lines very much at all.

The biggest winner in the lack of line changes is Ryan Garbutt getting to play on the top line with Jonathan Toews and Marian Hossa on the Joel Quenneville named Lottery Line.  To me though the biggest question for the Chicago Blackhawks to answer is their third line.  They have a bunch of guys that are perfect for fourth line grinder work, but they need some scoring to come from their third line so hopefully practice makes perfect or as my coach said, perfect practice makes perfect.  Here are some morning links to kick off your work week.
