Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Rematch Week Continues

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! It appears to be rematch week for the Chicago Blackhawks as the schedule makers were having some fun with the schedule this week.  The Hawks played the Tampa Bay Lightning Saturday night in a rematch of the Stanley Cup Final, and tonight they will be hosting the Anaheim Ducks who the Chicago Blackhawks eliminated in the Western Conference Finals.

The game Saturday night was a bit surprising as most experts felt like it was going to be a high scoring affair, yet the only goal scored was 17 seconds into overtime by the Captain Jonathan Toews.  The Lightning are one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference and could be back in the Stanley Cup Final come next June.

Tonight’s game is against a team that is struggling and finds itself somehow on the bottom of the Pacific Division Standings with only one victory in this young season.  Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf are not finding the back of the net, and so in return it’s been a huge struggle nightly for the Ducks to find goals.

Hopefully the button up defense from the Hawks without Duncan Keith will continue to keep the Ducks offense down for at least one more night tonight! Here are some morning links to kick off your work week.
