Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Calgary Bound

By Keith Schultz

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks are now off to Calgary to face-0ff against the Flames, and it’s the second game of the well talked about circus trip.  The Hawks are off to a good start on the trip after their overtime Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday night.

The good news on Wednesday night was that the Chicago Blackhawks received scoring from different lines which gives them some balance, even if the Patrick Kane/Artemi Panarin second line picked up 5 points on the night. Having an Andrew Shaw and Marian Hossa goal was nice to see in the long run.

On to tonight, the Chicago Blackhawks will be looking to pick up their fourth straight victory which would  create a nice start to the circus trip, but in the bigger picture it would create some distance between themselves and the also-rans in the early standings of the Western Conference.

It’s weird watching the Hawks win in these stadiums that they have struggled to win at year after year, but the Oilers and the Flames tonight have fallen on hard times, and it’s up to the Chicago Blackhawks to pick up a win and 2 points.  Here are some morning links to kick off your Friday morning.
