It’s Thanksgiving Day, and like most Americans we have a lot to be thankful for this time of year. As a Chicago Blackhawks fan, I have a lot to be thankful for, especially the past eight seasons, so I thought it would be a fun idea to look back at some memories and moments that we all can be thankful for as Blackhawks fans.

Clint Reif’s Son Receiving Championship Belt at Stanley Cup Rally
The entire Clint Reif story was heartbreaking from the day the news of his passing broke. You could tell by the players reactions and comments that he was a part of their “team” family. At the 2015 Cup celebration at Soldier Field, Kris Versteeg handed the team’s championship belt to Clint Reif’s son C.J., which was far and away the best moment of the 2015 Stanley cup celebration.
This was a fantastic way to remember Clint Reif and his family and a moment to be thankful for as a Chicago Blackhawks fan.
