Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Smashville Comes To Town

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks get their first look at this years Nashville Predators tonight at the United Center.  The last time we saw the Nashville Predators, the Chicago Blackhawks were ending their season by taking them out of the Stanley Cup playoffs in 6 games. Of course the victory wouldn’t have been possible if not for the outstanding play of Scott Darling when Corey Crawford got out of the blocks slowly.

This years Predators were off to their normal fast start but they have ran into an offensive problem and have struggled in their last 10 games.  The Nashville Predators are 3-5-2 in their last 10 and 5-5-1 on the road this season so the Hawks are not facing a red hot team.  The Central Division standings are tight and it’s the best division in the NHL so the next two games both against the Predators could put some space in between the two franchises.

The Chicago Blackhawks for one of the few times all season received some much needed offense from a line other than the 2nd line.  With Teuvo Teravainen playing along side Marian Hossa and Jonathan Toews, the top line scored twice in the Hawks 3-1 victory. Now it’s time for the line to produce again against the Preds! Here are some morning links to kick off your Game Night.
