Chicago Blackhawks Vs San Jose Sharks: TV Listings, Predictions, & More

By Keith Schultz

Well yesterday was pretty fun right? Well, the first 59 minutes of the game wasn’t too fun if you throw out the sweet Dennis Rasmussen goal.  The Chicago Blackhawks did what they do a lot on the road these days and slept walked through a game until you know who saved the day once again.  It’s amazing how many time #88 has saved the day this season and it took another goal in the last seconds to get the Chicago Blackhawks to overtime and well you know how it ended in the shootout.

Now the Chicago Blackhawks travel back home to the United Center tonight, and the Hawks have one of the best home records in the NHL at 13-4-1. They have played well in front of the home crowd, and they will be looking to add to that record tonight.

The thing the Hawks do need to find is some consistent scoring from anyone not named Patrick Kane.  On Thursday night, the top line carried the load, but on Saturday afternoon it was the same old story with the team waiting for Kane to save the day.  The Hawks bottom six has struggled for most of the year, and now they are missing Marcus Kruger for the rest of the season so will Phillip Danault be able to fill those skates is a big question for the next week.

The Sharks are in second place in the Pacific Division which goes to show how big the difference is between the two divisions in the Western Conference.  The Sharks have gone 3-6-1 in their last 10 games and yet are still in 2nd place in the Division.  The Sharks have the same crew as normal so the faces aren’t too different so I’m not sure why their fans expect a change in the outcome when the playoffs come around.  It’s Sharks vs Hawks from the United Center, and here is the viewing information for tonight’s game.

Now to the predictions, and the only prediction I hit correctly was that Patrick Kane would score a goal, the rest of the predictions were garbage so on to tonight’s contest.

Final Score Prediction– The Chicago Blackhawks have a lot of momentum from last night’s comeback victory and they light the lamp with regularity tonight.  The Hawks win 5-2 with Kane, Jonathan Toews, and Phillip Danualt picking up goals.

#2 Star- Joe Thornton– 2 Assists
