Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Toews & Kane Do It Again

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks worked overtime all weekend long and it was their two biggest stars saving the day to collect four points this weekend.

On Saturday afternoon, Patrick Kane saved the day to send the game to overtime and win it with the only goal in the shootout.

Last night, Patrick Kane scored a goal and then set up Jonathan Toews in overtime for the game winner.

I must say in this Golden era of Chicago Blackhawks hockey Toews and Kane aren’t on the ice too much together because Joel Quenneville likes to spread the wealth with the scoring, but when these two do take to the ice together good things usually happen like last night’s overtime goal.

The Chicago Blackhawks now have a date on Tuesday night with the Dallas Stars and their former teammates Johnny Oduya and Patrick Sharp, but the one thing that always remains the same is the fact that #19 and #88 are on the front lines making plays and winning games for the franchise. Thankfully Stan Bowman went the way of protecting the core and always moving in new parts to fill in the rest of the roster.

It’s a victory Monday and here are some morning links to kick off your short work week.
