Chicago Blackhawks Vs Arizona Coyotes: TV Listings, Predictions, & More

By Keith Schultz

The Chicago Blackhawks are back on the ice tonight on the road in a lot warmer place than Chicago when they visit Arizona and the Coyotes.  The Chicago Blackhawks have scored one loan goal in the last two games and that was with 3 whole second left on the clock Sunday night.  The lack of offense has been discouraging especially when the Patrick Kane line doesn’t score, the Blackhawks are now 0-5 when Kane doesn’t pick up a point and in those five games they have only totalled 2 goals.

The lack of scoring depth is the worst we have seen in the Jonathan Toews/Patrick Kane era even during the first roster purge.  The Chicago Blackhawks are getting nothing from the bottom 6 and basically getting nothing from Marian Hossa and Jonathan Toews which is probably the most disheartening.  Corey Crawford has been great this year, but the offense has forced him to be almost perfect to pick up victories due to the lack of scoring on a nightly basis.

The Chicago Blackhawks for the second straight night will be facing a player that helped them win the 2015 Stanley Cup.  Last game it was Kris Versteeg and Joakim Nordstrom and tonight it will be Antoine Vermette who really became a huge star in the Final against the Tampa Bay Lightning.  Vermette didn’t do much in the regular season after arriving at the trade deadline, but he was big in the Western Conference Final and Cup Final.  His scoring was big, but he seemed to win every huge face-off.

The Coyotes somehow are still 2nd in the Pacific Division with an almost .500 record.  They are a big surprise this season, but they are missing their goalie Mike Smith who was off to a sensational start to the season. The Hawks have played some stinkers in Arizona so it will be interesting to see if the offense and greasy goals show up in the land of Cactus tonight. Here are the listings for tonight’s game.
