Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! It’s the last day of the year and a time most people like to reflect back at what has happened in the past year.  Well, as Chicago Blackhawks fans we got to experience the best possible thing as a hockey fan when they took us down a magical trip to the Stanley Cup.  There were plenty of moments from

Scott Darling

saving the day in Game #1 to

Corey Crawford

shutting out the Tampa Bay Lighting in Game #6 to secure the Stanley Cup.   So once again here is the final seconds before the Chicago Blackhawks won their 3rd Stanley Cup in the past 6 seasons.

It was pretty wild that there was an actual wait for the Stanley Cup to arrive at the United Center, but in the end it was a great moment when the Cup was lifted by Jonathan Toews and the rest of the Chicago Blackhawks.

Now we are almost half way through the 2015-2016 season and even though the Chicago Blackhawks haven’t played their best hockey for an extended period of time, they have played well enough to be right in the middle of the playoff race.  The thing we do know about this Hawks core is all they need is a shot and the sky is the limit.  Before we get the cart in front of the horse, here is some morning links to kick off your New Year’s Eve.
