Initial Reaction: The Blackhawks sign another college level free agent. He is a depth forward for Rockford. Kero scored a lot of points for Michigan Tech in the WCHA. He was a Hobby Baker Finalist. He is the next Drew Leblanc.
Current Assessment: Kero scored 5 goals in 6 games his first in Rockford. He appeared in 17 games with the Blackhawks this season, recording 1 goals and 2 assists. He was a plus-4. He even saw time on the penalty kill during his time with the Blackhawks. He was sent down to Rockford when the Blackhawks recalled Dennis Rasmussen. At Rockford, Kero has 6 goals and 3 assists in 15 games.
