The Chicago Blackhawks are back home at the United Center after playing their last two games on the road, with both games ending in the win column. These games haven’t been pretty all the time, but in the end the Chicago Blackhawks found a way and picked up four valuable points in the standings.  They now are back home looking for two points and a little bit of revenge tonight against the Ottawa Senators.

The biggest development for the Chicago Blackhawks has been the fact that they have received some secondary scoring in one of the strangest places the past couple games. Joel Quenneville decided to shake things up and put Andrew Shaw on the top line, and with Teuvo Teravainen‘s demotion he threw together the line of Teuvo, Phillip Danault and Andrew Desjardins. This line has been great the past two games, including the fact that Desjardins has three goals in the past two games.

The balance in the scoring has helped free up Patrick Kane and his linemates to get back to doing what they had been doing, which is controlling the puck, puck possession and in the end putting the puck in the net.

Corey Crawford will be back in net tonight after sitting the last game so Scott Darling could shake off some rust, and the ’Hawks will be looking to enact some revenge after losing 4-3 in overtime to the Senators earlier this season.

The Senators have been struggling to keep the puck out of their net, and they have given up the second most goals in the Eastern Conference. The Senators are one point out of being in a wild card spot, but they have struggled in their last 10 games going 3-6-1. It’s the ’Hawks against the East at home tonight, and here are the listings for the Chicago Blackhawks vs. Ottawa Senators.
