No. 9: Corey Crawford, G, Chicago Blackhawks

The second goaltender to come in on this countdown is the Blackhawks’ Crawford. After having a couple of average seasons, Crow is back and better than ever. He has numbers better than his career year of 2013, and that season was shortened due to a lockout. Crow is 28-11-2 with a .932 save percentage and a 2.08 goals-against average. Along with these stats, he has seven shutouts, which leads the league.

It is amazing to see that Crawford has been able to get these stats with a sub-par defense in front of him. His positioning has been tremendous, which has caused him to save pucks that he may not see. One of the greatest parts of his game this season has been his ability to make big saves in clutch situations. There have been a couple games this season where Crow makes saves in the last seconds of the game to seal the deal for the ‘Hawks. But is so difficult for goaltender to win the Hart. Even if a goaltender does win the Hart this season, there are a few goaltenders who are more likely to win it at this point.
