Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! If you stayed up late last night you were rewarded with an exciting 5-4 overtime victory by the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Blackhawks are now 10-4 in games that have gone into the extra session this season, and boy are they fun to watch.  Sure the 3 on 3 game is a gimmick just like the shootout is, but it sure is fun seeing all the talent around the NHL make plays on both ends of the ice.

Of course probably my favorite well I guess 2nd favorite moment of the night was the Joel Quenneville reaction from the disallowed goal.  It had to have been one of the weakest goalie interference calls I’ve ever seen, but since they won it was worth watching the Coach Q meltdown after the ruling.

It’s great watching Q turn purple that’s for sure, but in the end the Chicago Blackhawks leave Arizona with 2 more points and head to Dallas to face-off against the Stars who made a comeback in their game and also won in overtime.  The last time these two teams met it was ugly so look for a totally different game from the Blackhawks Saturday night.

Two points and another W, and here are some morning links to kick off your Friday morning.
