Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! Unless you live off the grid which I assume none of you do since you are reading this online, Super Bowl 50 is going to be played today.  It really seems just like yesterday that the Monsters of the Midway were tearing up New Orleans on the way to Super Bowl XX win, and if it wasn’t for Rex Grossman Peyton Manning probably doesn’t have a Super Bowl title to his credit yet.

We digress, last night was a Super statement by the Chicago Blackhawks in Dallas.  While the Stars were the hot and trendy team for the first part of the season with them even dealing the Chicago Blackhawks a 4-0 win that looked incredibly easy in late December.  Last night the Hawks played the part of big brother hitting the Stars early and often in the Hawks 5-1 victory.

It was a huge game for Artem Anisimov (1 goal 3 assists) who probably when the Brandon Saad deal was announced was the second biggest name of the deal to most fans, but his chemistry with Patrick Kane and Artemi Panarin is one of the main reasons the Hawks are sitting on top of the Central Division this morning.  One other thing I love about Anisimov is that he parks himself in front of the goalie whenever possible.

A Super statement on the day before the Super Bowl, and here are some Super links to kick off the big Game day.
