Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! Well that was a fun third period once the Blackhawks got rolling, and it was fun to see Artemi Panarin pick up a hat trick on national TV after almost an entire week of Connor McDavid propaganda from the national media and  social media.

On the big stage in New York City on a NBCSN broadcast, Panarin showed off all of his skills and in the end netted 3 goals and made every team wish they had signed the Breadman in the offseason instead of falling into the Chicago Blackhawks lap.

The best part of the night was the fact that the team came back after losing their lead in the third period with Teuvo Teravainen setting up goals and then Panarin finishing off the Rangers for the 2 points.

Now back to the thing that has bugged me all week, and don’t take me the wrong way McDavid is a great talent, but Panarin has been doing it all season long, and really it appears after him missing 2 games due to illness is that he makes Patrick Kane even better than he already is.  So there is no way that Panarin should not be the front runner for the Calder Trophy.

Next up is the Winter Classic, and here are some morning links to kick off your Victory Thursday.
