Chicago Blackhawks Vs Minnesota Wild: Live Streaming, TV Listings, And More

By Keith Schultz

The Chicago Blackhawks are visiting the Minnesota Wild on the outdoor rink at TCF Bank Stadium on the University of Minnesota campus is finally here!! The Chicago Blackhawks are about to take part of their 4th outdoor game which they really haven’t thrived in going 1-2 including a tough loss last year on New Year’s Day when Troy Brouwer scored in the final 20 seconds to defeat the Blackhawks.

The Good news for the Chicago Blackhawks is that they have actually go some rest because of their Stadium Series game with 3 days off before and after today’s game which is probably just a big of a reward for the team as getting featured by the NHL on the outdoor rink today.  The Chicago Blackhawks and the St. Louis Blues have played more games (61) than any other team in the NHL so this break in the action with the finish line starting to appear is something the Hawks roster has to be happy to have right now.

The Chicago Blackhawks are coming off an exciting 5-3 win at Madison Square Garden when Artemi Panarin took over the third period, he picked up his first career hat trick and on a national broadcast which proved to the NHL why he’s the best rookie in the NHL this season.  The other thing about the Hawks in their last two games besides scoring 12 goals is the fact that their powerplay is red hot picking up 7 goals in two games.

The game for the Minnesota Wild is more than just a celebration of the outdoor game that many play in the Land of 10,000 lakes.  The Minnesota Wild playoff hopes are on the wrong side of the playoff line, and the team recently took some action firing Coach Mike Yeo.  Yeo’s job was saved last year when Devan Dubnyk joined the team and turned into a Vezina Trophy and Hart Trophy Candidate winning almost every game, but this year hasn’t been the same so this is a huge game on so many levels for the Wild today.  Here are the listings for this afternoon’s afternoon contest
