Good Morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks are back to work after having three days off to lick their collective wounds after watching the Minnesota Wild score 6 goals outdoors Sunday afternoon.

The Chicago Blackhawks will play two games between now and the weekend while the Dallas Stars play 5 games, so even though they may fall out of first place in the Central Division, the defending Stanley Cup Champions are getting valuable rest with only 20 games left on the schedule.

Even though snow was falling on Wednesday, the Chicago Blackhawks had practice and a couple of things came out of that practice when it comes to injury updates.  Marian Hossa is close to getting back on the ice although he won’t be seeing any game action for at least a week, and on the long term look Marcus Kruger was back on the ice skating though his timetable for returning hadn’t changed with it being at the end of the regular season.

Tonight is the Nashville Predators at the United Center, and they have been playing better with the NHL trade deadline approaching so tonight should be a solid test.  Here are some morning links to kick off your gameday.
