Good morning, Chicago Blackhawks fans. Blackhawk Up’s Keith Schultz, who normally handles the morning links, is on a well-deserved vacation, so I’ll be your tour guide for a little while. Sorry if we hit a few bumps, flip over … I’m not the best driver.

The Blackhawks, who have a game in hand on both the Dallas Stars and St. Louis Blues, will look to get within a point of both teams tonight when they host the Los Angeles Kings. Dallas is off tonight, while the Blues visit the Calgary Flames. So … the Blues are probably going to be on a seven-game win streak by Tuesday morning.

The Blackhawks are coming off a 5-2 loss to the Stars in which they looked all out of sorts. They’ll try to get back on track against the Kings, who lead the Pacific Division by two points and have gone 0-1-1 against the men in the Indian Head this regular season. The puck drops at 7 p.m. at the United Center.
