Here Are Some Perks To Being A Chicago Blackhawks Fan

Finally, as Chicago Blackhawks fans, we have a many reasons to be pretty proud of our favorite team.  Here are a few:

Chelsea Dagger. Every team has a goal song or celebration after it scores a goal. But let’s face it: I think the Chicago Blackhawks have pretty much cornered the market with this one.

Jim Cornelison. Each team celebrates at least one national anthem before every game. But the ’Hawks have one of the best singers in the business in Cornelison. Nobody can belt it out like Jim. His deep and booming voice gets the adrenaline flowing for players and fans alike. It is the perfect way to set the stage for each contest.

Pat Foley. Some people don’t like him, but nobody can argue his enthusiasm. In my opinion, Pat is one of the best broadcasters in the business. He makes everything seem so exciting. If you’ve ever listened to some of the boring broadcasts from other teams, you learn to appreciate Foley even more.

Captain Serious. Need I say more? Jonathan Toews is easily the best captain in the NHL. He is highly respected by players, coaches and fans around the league. His competitiveness, intensity and professionalism are well known. The Chicago Blackhawks are extremely lucky to have him represent their team.

Three Stanley Cups In Six Years. I don’t think I really need to expand here. The heading says it all.
