Good Morning Chicago Blackhawks Fans!

One of my kids favorite things to do at Sea World when they were young was the Shark Encounter at Sea World. You get to walk through and see all of the Sharks and then you get to go on a people mover where the Sharks are all around you.  If you don’t like tight space it could freak you out a bit, but either way it was the kids favorite, so the one year we had season passes I must have gone through the Shark Encounter 100 times it feels.

The St. Louis Blues had their own Shark Encounter last night when Joe Pavelski turned a 2-1 Blues Lead into a 3-2 Sharks lead in a minute of playing time, but twenty minutes or so of real time when he scored in the final minutes of the 2nd period and in the opening minute of the third period.

His deflection was an awesome tip of a Brent Burns shot that got past Jake Allen and the Sharks never looked back the rest of the way with the final score being 6-3.   Now the St. Louis Blues are one loss away from the same fate the Chicago Blackhawks received from them two series ago.

Tonight, the Pittsburgh Penguins have to win on the road to force a Game #7 or Sidney Crosby and company will be missing the Stanley Cup Finals once again.  Playoff hockey is great isn’t it?
