Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- A Real Series

Good Morning Chicago Blackhawks Fans!

As we all know the Chicago Blackhawks are in full summer mode, but the Stanley Cup Final heads to Game #4 tonight in San Jose with the Sharks trying to tie up the series at 2 games a piece on home ice.

The Stanley Cup Final on Saturday night went to overtime for the second straight game with both teams taking one with the Sharks finally winning an overtime game this year. The Sharks were 0-4 heading into the extra session on Saturday night, and the Pittsburgh Penguins had their shots to beat Martin Jones and the Sharks to take a commanding 3-0 series lead, but the task would not be accomplished.

Now the series could be heading back to Pittsburgh all square if the Sharks can come up with one more victory on home ice tonight.

The NHL had to be rooting for the Sharks to win in overtime of Game #3 with the both the NHL and NBCSN not wanting a short series and probably wanting a 7 game series to actually draw some real ratings and getting some casual fans to watch.

Either way I’ll be rooting for a Game #7 in the series and hopefully a Sharks win, but hey that’s me anyways let’s just see what happens tonight in Game #4
