No. 29: LW Bryan Bickell (2009-16)

Admittedly and understandably, feelings toward Bickell aren’t positive at this point in time. But there’s not a whole lot choose from at No. 29, and Bickell had some important contributions during his time in Chicago.

Of course, most of those came in the 2013 Stanley Cup year, in which Bickell made his case for a bigger contract moving forward. While the contract wound up an unfortunate mistake, no one is going to take back Bickell’s impact on those playoffs.

He posted 17 points (nine goals) in 23 playoff games, with one of the most easily remembered coming late in Game 6 of the Cup Final. Bickell got to the front of the net, where he did his best work, and jammed home a game-tying goal that eventually led to Chicago winning the Cup that night in Boston.
