Sullivan was one of those really good complementary pieces who was caught up in some really bad Blackhawks teams. As a result, he might be best remembered for the above photo, an incident that saw Sullivan get hit in the face with a puck, get mocked by a fan, then watch as the fan was hit in the face with a puck later in the same game.

Sullivan was sent from Toronto to Chicago early in the 1999-2000 season and had a nice run with the Blackhawks. He posted 64 points in that shortened season, then 75, 60 and 61 points in his following three full seasons with Chicago. He added another 43 points in the 2003-04 season before being moved to Nashville halfway through.
