Good Morning Chicago Blackhawks fans!

As the summer drags along as a snails pace with ever day seemingly hotter than the one before, as a Chicago Blackhawks fan I’ve been thinking if we have seen it all or is there something left in the tank for this core.

Of course, we’ve been told since the Chicago Blackhawks were eliminated in the first round of the NHL Playoffs by the St. Louis Blues that the team needed an early exit to refill their tanks, and even Joel Quenneville said that the team didn’t have anything left when the coach needed more from them against the Blues.

The problem is that the talent on the ice for the Chicago Blackhawks isn’t where it’s been every other year that they have made long runs into the playoffs.  The talent pool actually feels more like the 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 seasons which to me means another bumpy season with a lot of doubts heading into the playoffs unless one of the Chicago Blackhawks prospects take a giant leap this season.

Of course the one player that could help the Hawks talent level would be if Stan Bowman could pull off a Jimmy Vesey signing this coming week.

The change of the roster should be a bit scary with no Andrew Shaw or Teuvo Teravainen on the roster and someone has to fill those skates and roles.  Everyone says Ryan Hartman and some say Vincent Hinostroza, but do the Hawks need Vesey to make a deep run this coming season? We still have weeks to go before training camp starts and some questions get answered.
