No. 54: LW Brian Flesner (1997-98)

The other choice for this number was Dave Chyzowski. It’s likely few people remember either of these two players, but Flesner had the better stats in his one season with Chicago.

The Blackhawks were the only NHL team Flesner ever played for. He tallied four points in 12 games. Aaaaaaand that’s it.

No. 55: RW Eric Daze (1994-2006)

The Blackhawks were the only team Daze ever played for, but he’s not really remembered fondly by fans despite his long tenure. Some of this had to do with the teams around him being bad, while some of it had to do with him not using his size to bull through and around opponents.

Regardless, Daze was a fine player in Chicago. He finished second in Calder Trophy voting with 53 points in 80 games during his rookie season. Unfortunately, that was the second-most points Daze would post in a season.

He finished with 398 points in 601 regular-season games, one All-Star nod and 12 points in 37 postseason contests. Injuries derailed his career, but he ultimately finished with 40 or more points in all but one of his full NHL seasons.
