Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Finally

Good Morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The calendar has finally turned to the month of September and Chicago Blackhawks hockey will soon be back and this long boring summer can finally come to a close.
As we talked about yesterday, the Chicago Blackhawks long boring summer is about to come to an end with training camp only a couple weeks away.
Before we get to training camp there will be all the talk about the World Cup of hockey and another chance for players like Jonathan Toews to pad their impressive career resumes.
If you look at the Captain resume it’s amazing how great of a winner he really is and now he can add a World Cup of hockey championship to it. Toews won two Junior World Championships, a Selke Trophy, a Calder Trophy, he’s won 2 Gold Medals at the Olympics and most importantly he’s hoisted the Stanley Cup three times as the Captain of the Chicago Blackhawks after winning the Cup.
Now when the World Cup is going on, the Chicago Blackhawks will be kicking off their training camp, and one player to watch will be defenseman Michal Kempny. The top four defenseman look set, but will Kempny be able to solidify that third pairing with Trevor van Riemsdyk or Michal Rozsival.
Even though the Hawks defense looks much improved they aren’t getting any younger and it would be nice to see a little less workload from Duncan Keith and Niklas Hjalmarsson this season instead of them having to carry the entire load and a player like Kempny could sure help that process.
