Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks take on the best team in the Eastern Conference tonight at the United Center, and the Montreal Canadiens are headlined by their star goalie Carey Price

The Chicago Blackhawks are making their final home appearance in November until well after Thanksgiving day. The Chicago Blackhawks have the best record in the Western Conference, and they will have a real test when they face-off tonight against the Montreal Canadiens.

Carey Price set a record last night becoming the first goalie in NHL history to start the season by winning 10 straight games. The Montreal Canadiens are having a very interesting season, and it’s looking like the gamble to trade P.K. Subban is paying off with their hot start.

The Canadiens are 13-1-1  and the strangeness of their season so far is that their one regulation loss was to the Columbus Blue Jackets that just happened to defeat the Habs by a 10-0 score.  So throw one game out, and the Canadiens have been fantastic this season.

We are still trying to figure out the Chicago Blackhawks who have gone 8 games without a regulation loss which has shot the Hawks from in the middle of the pack in the Central Division to the very top with a 5 point cushion.

The emergence of Marian Hossa after a real off year has really helped the Chicago Blackhawks during this point streak.  Hossa looks very energized than he looked last season when he set career lows.

The other star has been Corey Crawford who may be playing better hockey than Price, so tonight will be a great shot for Crawford to upstage Price at the United Center.  It should be a fun battle, and here are some morning links to start your Sunday morning.
