With an emotional 2-1 victory Sunday night in Edmonton, the Arizona Coyotes extended their point streak against the Oilers to 25 games, the league’s longest active point streak against a single opponent.
Goalie Mike Smith was stellar, stopping 41 of 42 shots, and is back in top form since returning from an early season injury, posting an impressive .928 save percentage and 2.57 goals-against average on the season.
