No. 17:  New Jersey Devils

Previous:  19th

Season Record:  12-10-6

The Devils have lost three games in a row, including a 5-0 shutout to the New York Rangers on Sunday.  They also endured their first home regulation loss to the St. Louis Blues (4-1) on Friday night.

This is still a very well balanced team all the way around, from forwards to defense to goaltending.  I wouldn’t count them out by any means, but they are definitely in a slump right now.
