No. 10:  Edmonton Oilers

Previous:  11th

Season Record:  15-11-5

In the month of December, the Oilers have picked up at least a point in all their seven games but one.  They’ve won three games, and taken three games to overtime or a shootout but lost.  Their one outright loss was to the Philadelphia Flyers, by a score of 6-5.

Needless to say, Edmonton is finding a way to keep games close, and give themselves a chance to win.  Captain Connor McDavid is currently leading the league in points, with 39.
