No. 5:  Philadelphia Flyers

Previous:  15th

Season Record:  18-10-3

A winning streak of nine games in a row is not too shabby.  This is what the Philadelphia Flyers have just accomplished.  They go for win number 10 on Wednesday against the struggling Colorado Avalanche.

Jakub Voracek was named the NHL’s first star of the week.  He’s had two four-point games in the past seven days.  This includes six assists and nine point in four outings.
