No. 23:  Carolina Hurricanes

Previous:  24th

Season Record:  11-11-6

The Canes have lost five of their last seven games.  They were most recently defeated by the San Jose Sharks 4-3 on Saturday.  Although they did manage to beat the Kings on Thursday, after a heart-breaking 6-5 shootout loss to the Anaheim Ducks the night before.

Here’s an interesting fact.  The Canes are the highest ranked team on the penalty kill (92%).  So there’s that.  They take on the Vancouver Canucks tonight.
