This week’s Chicago Blackhawks roundtable focuses on positive developments in the team’s offensive game, but also an important injury

It’s hard not to like what the Chicago Blackhawks are doing of late. They’ve won four straight games, including victories over the Central Division-leading Minnesota Wild and fellow division foe St. Louis. They finished the month of February 9-1-0 to pull within a point of the Wild.

A big reason for this surge has been the Blackhawks finding a groove in their offense. They scored four or more goals in all but one game this month, the outlier a 3-1 loss to Edmonton when Cam Talbot essentially stood on his head.

There are plenty of guys who you can point to as key facilitators and contributors for this offensive improvement. So we asked our panel of Blackhawk Up experts who they’ve been most impressed with during this recent run of success.

That’s just one of our two Chicago Blackhawks roundtable questions for today. Here’s the official queries:

Question 1: Who have you been most impressed with during the Blackhawks’ recent offensive surge and why?

Question 2: How concerned would you be if Niklas Hjalmarsson was out long-term due to injury and why?

Let’s see what our group of writers had to say today.
