After spending most of the season looking up in our NHL power rankings, the Chicago Blackhawks have finally made it over the hump

The Chicago Blackhawks had a fine first couple months of the regular season, then settled into a pattern of sometimes struggling, sometimes not for another two months. It led to them lingering in our NHL power rankings’ top 10, but not really threatening for the top spot.

Well, things have finally changed this week. The Blackhawks, who have lost just three games since Feb. 1, have reached the top of the regular-season mountain, as it pertains to our NHL power rankings.

Ahead of tonight’s game against the Vancouver Canucks at the United Center, Colin Likas and Greg Bradshaw bring you the latest rankings of each of the league’s 30 teams.
