Ahead of the Chicago Blackhawks’ game against the Columbus Blue Jackets, we talked to an expert fan of the Eastern Conference club

The Chicago Blackhawks’ toughest remaining matchup of the regular-season, as far as the opposing team’s point total is concerned, occurs tonight at the United Center. The Columbus Blue Jackets are coming to town along with their 106 points, good for second-best in the league.

The Blue Jackets played last night, dropping a 2-1 overtime decision to the surging Carolina Hurricanes. This game will see the return of Brandon Saad in his second season with the BJs.

This game is important for both the Blackhawks and the Blue Jackets. The Blackhawks are trying to seal up the Central Division and Western Conference titles, while the Jackets are earnestly trying to keep pace with the Washington Capitals for the Metropolitan Division title and President’s Trophy.

Ahead of this game, we got in touch with a fellow FanSided writer for some insight on the Blue Jackets. Let’s see what Union and Blue’s Lansing Murphy had to say about his favorite NHL team.
