No. 23: Florida Panthers’ Roberto Luongo

Put this one here out of a little bit of spite, because Bobby Lou’s last helmet was absolute perfection and following it up with this is just hard for me to stomach. As harsh as that sounded, this is actually a pretty good mask. The colors are a bit off to me as they don’t quite match the dark blue and gold on the jersey, and fit more of the St. Louis Blues scheme than the Panthers. But the incorporation of the flag is a nice touch. Good mask, sir, but from a friend, go back to the gold one. That mask is too gorgeous to be replaced.
