Our Chicago Blackhawks roundtable returns with the Blackhawk Up writers’ input on current NHL talent and future professional stars

During the Stanley Cup Playoffs, we took the Chicago Blackhawks roundtable out of the posting rotation at Blackhawk Up, because we figured we’d have a lot more postseason activity to write about.

That turned out not to be the case, and so we’re bringing back the roundtable for some offseason discussion. If you’ve forgotten how we do this in the time it was away, Blackhawk Up writers answer two questions each week, generally relating to the Blackhawks, and all their responses get pushed up against each other.

It’s a fun way for our stable of Blackhawks fans to get their viewpoints across, and for us to offers you varying viewpoints at the same time.

This week, we’ve decided to take a look at some guys who are getting close to being labeled “the past,” as well as guys who should rightfully be declared “the future.” Here are this week’s official questions:

Question 1: If they could/have to pick just one, which “old” defenseman do you think the Blackhawks most likely keep for 2017-18: Brian Campbell, Johnny Oduya or Michal Rozsival?

Question 2: Which prospect are you most excited to watch during offseason camps and why?

Let’s see what our Blackhawk Up writers had to say this week.
