It appears the Chicago Blackhawks are going to undergo an overhaul as a result of being far too close to the NHL’s salary cap, and it’s strongly likely more than one core player will be on the way out
This weekend has just been rife with rumors for the Chicago Blackhawks. Outside the team reportedly working out a deal with the Vegas Golden Knights to send Marcus Kruger there …
#NHL news for #Blackhawks fans...looks like they are sending #MarcusKruger to Las Vegas. I'm told it's a done deal. Details coming soon

… the Blackhawks are reportedly also seeking to move another core player as soon as possible.
Hearing Seabrook to one of 2 Canadian teams possible, LOTS of rumors out there, Kruger to LV for a pick also close

This makes all the sense in the world, considering Sunday’s announcement the NHL’s salary cap would remain flat for the 2017-18 season, checking in at $73 million once again.
So now we have reported information that the Blackhawks will be moving Kruger and, likely, another key face from the core. (For what it’s worth, I do consider Kruger part of the core.) If 670 The Score’s Jay Zawaski is correct in that it’s not Jonathan Toews, we still have a few options to choose from.
Let’s take a look at those guys today, and the chances they’ll be moving.
