This week’s Chicago Blackhawks roundtable takes a look at the team’s future playoffs chances and balancing the Western Conference

The Chicago Blackhawks are in a state of great flux. Rumors abound that a key piece will be moved in the near future, in addition to the seemingly likely losses of Marcus Kruger and Trevor van Riemsdyk to the Vegas Golden Knights.

So what does that mean for the Blackhawks’ chances of qualifying for the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs? That was one of the questions we asked the Blackhawk Up panel this week for the Chicago Blackhawks roundtable. Here are this week’s two questions:

Question 1: How concerned are you about the Blackhawks’ playoff chances for 2017-18 if they wind up moving multiple core pieces this offseason?

Question 2: With the Vegas Golden Knights creating an odd number of teams in the Western Conference, where would you want to add another team and why?

Let’s see what our experts had to say about these questions.
