#2 Andrew Shaw (5th Round Pick 139)

You can love him or hate him, but one thing you could count on about Andrew Shaw was that he was going to do somethings that made you want to watch the Blackhawks.

He loved his shinpads.

He was a gamer that was for sure, and he was a huge steal in the 5th round after not getting drafted in the prior years draft.  He was #Shawfacts at first on Twitter, and yes he took some really stupid penalties at times. Yet despite all that a team needs a gritty player that can get everyone going.  It’s something that the Hawks seemed to have missed this year during the playoffs.

More from Blackhawk Up

Of course one of my favorite goals of Shaw was one that didn’t even count during the 2015 Western Conference Finals.

His antics are missed that’s for sure well at least sometimes!
