My Joel Quenneville Top Line Prediction

Ok, I know this one seems pretty easy, and I guarantee it’s the only one that is the same, but with the addition of Saad to the roster this is the only no brainer out of training camp minus heaven forbid an injury.

Panik and Toews had some pretty good chemistry last season on the top line which in return gave Panik a career season in goals and pretty big pay raise to boot.

Toews and Saad together is something that the Captain has been missing in his game since Saad left for the Columbus Blue Jackets in the summer of 2015.

Toews during his press conference promised to put speed back in his game this offseason during workouts, and with the speedy Saad on his wing, I’m very excited to see what this line can do this year.

One thing that is for sure, it won’t be a checking line like the top line has been at time the past two years with the aging Marian Hossa on it.  This should be a 200 foot nightmare for opponents to play against game in and game out.

What do you think? Is this Top line a lock going into opening night?
