Saturday November 4th at The Minnesota Wild

Back in 2015, I made the trip to Minnesota to see the Blackhawks play the Wild in the playoffs.  One of my best friends was getting married that summer so we decided to take our motorcycles and drive nine hours to see something we could easily watch on TV.  The country roads of the midwest were beautiful but when we finally got to the Twin cities, I could barely feel my buns.

The stadium is really impressive.  The ice looks ten times better than the UC’s ice does but it could be just from better lighting.  Their stadium is also located where all the other Minnesota teams play so it makes a cool sports venue plaza.  I remember being obsessed with getting a picture in front of Mickey’s Diner where Charlie Conway did his homework waiting for his mom to get done with her shift in the Might Ducks movie.  The Mall of America is also something cool to check out if you haven’t been before.  Prepare yourself to see a Starbucks every five feet.

The Blackhawks have had some trouble beating the Wild during the regular season, but the Hawks always treat these match-ups seriously.  Especially if they’re indoors…
