Chicago Blackhawks Top 10 Prospects List For Summer 2017

11 of 11
1. Alexandre Fortin, forward
Fortin didn’t participate during on-ice activities due to an injury, but nobody seemed to knock him off his throne from his performance in training camp last year. He almost made the Blackhawks’ opening-day roster but was the last player cut from the team.
Fortin continued his development in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last year and apparently put on some weight. For a kid who convinced Stan Bowman to sign him to an entry-level deal as a free agent and is following the Blackhawks’ development plans, Fortin is determined to make it to the big league.
Time will tell when he finally gets to put on the Indian head for good.
